I'm starting this blog for the purpose of exploring photography and my camera without taking formal classes. I hope to try new things and set time aside to really improve my skills. My goal is to be able to take good photos most of the time instead of just getting lucky from time to time.

I've never seen a hummingbird sit still like this. I blew up this photo for my office. I find it to be very restful.
