I'm starting this blog for the purpose of exploring photography and my camera without taking formal classes. I hope to try new things and set time aside to really improve my skills. My goal is to be able to take good photos most of the time instead of just getting lucky from time to time.

I love the picture of the shoreline at Bluff Point. I like the way you can see the rocks up close and then the rest of the shoreline. I feel like seeing those rocks in more detail helps me to know what the rest of the shore is like.
